Taking Relief

Penalty Stroke
If a penalty stroke is incurred, you are allowed 2 clubs from your nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole.
Free Relief
Free drops are allowed 1 club from your nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole.
Sprinklers Near Green
We do not allow local rule F-5, so you do not get free relief from sprinkler heads near the green (i.e. you do not get "line of putt" relief from a sprinkler).

Pace of Play

Lateral Hazards
In an effort to minimize guys walking backwards: If you hit a shot that crosses the hazard WELL SHORT of where you intend to look for it, hit a provisional ball where it crossed the line, then move forward and look for it. If you find it and it can be played, you are free to do so.
Lost Balls
The time allotted for lost balls is 3 minutes.

Clarification on Penalty Areas and Drop Areas

Hole 1
Bushes on the far side of the cart path leading from the first green to the 2nd tee is a lateral hazard.
Hole 2
Left of cart path until it crosses maintenance road, then left of maintenance road is a lateral hazard. Right side, starting at Maintenance Area netting and continuing with the asphalt maintenance road is OB. Beyond the OB, the unmaintained areas, and bushes with dirt and no grass are a lateral hazard.
Hole 3
Left side, the edge of the bushes is a lateral hazard. Right side - right of upper maintenance road until the 100 yard marker on cart path, then right of the cart path up to the stairs at 4 tee are lateral hazards. Free relief from caged rocks on the right (swing, not Line of Sight), no closer to hole.
Hole 4
Left side, the edge of the bushes is a lateral hazard. Right side - right of cart path/storm channel, until the Y, then right of the continuing storm channel/maintenance road is a lateral hazard. The washed-out area between the two paths is Ground Under Repair.
Hole 5
Left of cart path until 100 yard marker on path, then edge of bushes is a lateral hazard. Free relief (swing and LofS) from halfway house/ restrooms. Flower bed between tree on hill and the green is in play. Right side, right of old maintenance road until it reconnects to cart path, then from base of hill to cart path on #6 is a lateral hazard
Hole 6
Any ball across the path from the start of the "fairway", continuing behind the green and to the left of the tee on #7 is a lateral hazard. Drop nearest to where the ball crossed the path, no closer to the hole. OB is the chain link fence on the far side of 7 tee.
Hole 7
Left side, left of cart path from beginning of fairway to the 250 yd marker in path, then left to sprinkler box is a lateral hazard. OB Right side, 28th Street, then from beginning of rubber walkway in cart path, right of path from there to around back of the green. The inside post of the fence on the right side of hole is the OB line.
Hole 8
Bushes and gulley on the left side continuing left of 6 tee, from sprinkler box to sprinkler box, then around the edge of the tee is a lateral hazard. Drop area is nearest point where ball crossed the line and grass is maintained. Right side, over fence into Pershing Drive is OB.
Hole 9
OB - Right side, over/under/through fence into Pershing Drive. Left side, free relief (swing and LofS) from Maintenance building.
Hole 10
Left side penalty area begins where grass is no longer maintained and continues through the left and behind the green and is a lateral hazard. Free relief from cement drain on left. If ball is in the hazard, the drop area is nearest point where grass is maintained.
Hole 11
Right side, free relief (swing and LofS) from Maintenance building.
Hole 12
Right of cart path the entire hole is a lateral hazard. On the left, canyon through fairway, short left of green, continuing behind and to the right of the green is a lateral hazard. The hazard begins where grass is not maintained. If a penalty drop is taken, the drop area is where grass is maintained. If the ball rolls down or crosses the cart path by 13 tee into the hazard, the drop area is behind the area between the back white tee on 13 and the cart path.
Hole 13
anything right of the cart path, and the newly excavated area left of green is a hazard. Drop area is at bottom of slope, between the two sprinkler boxes
Hole 14
The fence to the right along Pershing Drive is OB. Left down the entire hole and continuing behind the green, is a lateral hazard which begins where grass is not maintained. Drop area is nearest where the ball crossed the hazard, where grass is maintained, no nearer the hole.
Hole 15
Left of cart path, until across from small metal hut, then left to hut, then left of maintenance road the rest of the hole is a lateral hazard. IF there is maintenance equipment or maintenance debris to the right of the maintenance road, outside the P.A., you get free relief (swing and LofS)
Hole 16
The fence along the right side and continuing to the last white stake is OB. Beyond fence and right of the cart path through the green is a lateral hazard. Left, the canyon through the green is lateral hazard. Free relief from cement drain on the left. Long or left of the green, the hazard begins where grass is no longer maintained.
Hole 17
The fence along the right and behind the green is OB. Long and left into that rock filled drain area is a lateral hazard. Drop area is just to the east side of the area where grass is maintained.
Hole 18
Everything right of the cart path is a lateral hazard. The dirt area right and long of the green is in play...no relief.
