Individual Stroke Play, with overall Low Net being our Champion

How it Works

  • No max score per hole
  • Pairings are set by the Tournament Director
  • No pairing requests
  • No special requests

Scoring

  • Players must putt everything out, no gimmies

Tiebreakers / Card-Offs

  • Sudden death playoff if tied for overall champion
  • All other ties are broken using the USGA scorecard card-off method based on net scores.
  • Comparison order: Back 9 > Last 6 > Last 3 > 18th hole.
  • Card-offs are applied within each flight.

**Our Majors are Earned Opportunities**

Entry into these tournaments is determined by your position on the 2026 Order of Merit and the Rolling 12 Month Order of Merit. A limited number of players are exempt. After that, the field is filled in order based on OOM position. Major tournament golf at Balboa is something you qualify for through engagement and performance across the season.
