President's Comments-June 2013

A busy month ahead with three tournaments. Wednesday June 12th is a 2 Man Best Ball and a warm up for the SCGA 2 Man Best Ball on Sunday June 23rd. Several low gross and net winners will qualify for the SCGA finals. A time to choose your partner wisely. We finish the month with a Wednesday June 26th Stapleford. We finished last month with our first major The President's Cup and it was a beautiful weekend for golf. But, having the event on the Memorial Day weekend was not a good time and restricted entries. We will have to change that for next year. A fun event that we need to allow more to play. I did not play my best golf and being a man of my word, the following players will receive a free beer at Tuesday's men's club meeting for beating my low net score. Any beer if your choice, but you must attend. Grassa, McHugh, Sewell, Kay, J. Middlebrook, Chvatal, Hoffman, Billion, Nou, Chance, Davis (had a hole in one at the event. More beer?), Thoresen, Mills, Alford, Gillespie, Allen, Falletta, Pabon, Swanson, Barr, Willamson and Barron. See you at the meeting.In the mean time - Grip it and Rip it.
