Cart Path Project
“I see where the new cart path will be on the third hole. The new path will be 1/3 of the way up the hill on the right side of the fairway, a place that many shots land . . . and will now some will bounce up into the bushes. It seems that now shot selection will have to take the cart path location into account. I can honestly say I have never had to consider cart path location into my shot thought process, anywhere. I see a similar design going up the right side of 18, ridiculous.”
I played twilight 11/6/14 and see that they have started the cart path project. Besides the inconvenience of holes 2 and 3 being reduced to short par threes that day (I'm sure that rerouting trend will continue as they progress around the course), I see where the new cart path will be on the third hole. The new path will be 1/3 of the way up the hill on the right side of the fairway, a place that many shots land . . . and will now some will bounce up into the bushes. I see a similar design going up the right side of 18, ridiculous.
This course wasn't designed with cart paths in mind and now it seems the cart path design isn't keeping the golf course in mind.
Any thoughts?
. . . and will they be working on the weekends? Hence, will the holes remain shortened on the weekends?
