Play 18 holes, Count 9, Forget the rest, what a concept!

A new tournament format was used for this Wednesday event which only counted your best nine (front or back). I call it the lazy man's tourny cause if your played well on the front, the back nine was just like a day off. But wait, some players pursevered and used the final nine for their golden ticket to the winners circle. Ed Dick gutted it out by scoring his best nine on the back, shooting 40 to take low gross in Flight #3. Tom Woliver was also a late bloomer with a final nine for 34 for his gross title. Big Bob Kellogg carded a 38 for one of his nines and took low gross in Flight #2. The other gross winner was Joe Cunha who got down with a 44 to win in Flight #4. Good crowd of over 60 which isn't bad considering this month the tournaments were played in back to back weeks. Of course this was done so we can all do the American thing next week, chow down on turkey, watch some football, and take long naps! Have a great Thanksgiving!!
