Al Bruton scores the latest ACE at Balboa!

The word has already been spread though out the valleys of the park but for those who haven't heard another ACE has been scored. The last time this event happened was when Steve Klein put one in the jar on #9 about 8 months ago. This time the event occurred when the Senior Match Play Team was hosting a home match vs the Castle Creek Club.. Here's some comments submitted by a couple of the club members. It seems the ISIS has relinquished it's title as "The Bringers of Terror" to one of our own.... Yes, for Big Al Bruton the team win was not enough. Not a 4-4, or 5-1, or even a 6-0 victory. Having already been nearly demoralized, the brave hearts of Castle Creek stopped beating altogether at hole number 13 as Mr. Bruton acted as if it was Wednesday at the Masters, striking a beautiful "x" (fill in the iron #) iron perfectly, drawing it right over the top of the flag, then spinning back....center cut! Hole in One!! And the Castle fell. When you see sire Bruton, tread respectfully and address him by his proper name. THE DESTROYER! Hedge Capers -- reporting ============================== I totally respect the perfection of the ace and the rewards it reaps to skilled individuals who could strike such a shot. Let it be a formal decree that from this day forward, Sir Al Bruton will no longer be referred to as "The Hurt Locker" but shall be properly addressed as "The Destroyer". That is of course until the time comes that another spectacular head over heals tumble occurs. In the mean time, I sing my high praises to our beloved ex-president for his glorious achievement!
